Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have announced their 16th studio album. The follow-up to 2013's Push the Sky Away is called Skeleton Tree and it comes out on vinyl. The band recorded the album at Retreat Studios in Brighton in late 2014 and La Frette Studios in France in autumn 2015, and it was mixed at London's AIR Studios earlier this year. Songs from Skeleton Tree will have their premiere at a special one-night only film event with the screening of One More Time with Feeling at over 650 cinemas worldwide on September 8.
