The Danish singer and songwriter, Alberte Winding, is back with a new album, this time in collaboration with the musician and her husband, Andreas Fugleb?k. Together, they have created an ode to life that encompasses everything from sadness and worries to a celebration of love and the years that make us warmer and wiser. In the company of Alberte Winding's gentle vocals, which exude a calm fervor as you know it best, combined with the tones from Andreas Fugleb?k's jazzy universe, the intention is to take the listeners by the hand and lead them through their worries.
About the album, Alberte Winding says: "We have gone through a collective downturn in Denmark and in the world. We are still underlyingly worried and on the edge of stress all the time. The album is about taking us back to a more innocent time, a timeless jazzy sound that embraces both the fear of dying and the joy of living. This record must be able to contain our sadness and our concern, but it must also point to the music, the party found on a Thursday night bike ride through the city, the love, the kids, and the years that make us warmer and wiser. It should be a night-time record that you put on while you look out the window and are filled with happiness and melancholy at being alive. Think about how vulnerable our lives are. Use it thoroughly.¡±
